YOUR COMPARISON WORKSPACE
Two files. One clear answer.
Choose two files, or try the sample to see how it works.
Let’s choose your two files.
Excel or CSV, in either order. Review the first row before continuing.

What identifies the same record?
Connect columns that mean the same thing. Choose the fields that identify a record, then which values to compare.
Scroll across the table to see all connections. Types are suggested from sampled values. Review them, especially identifier and date columns.
A little flexibility. A clear result.
Set how much difference is acceptable. A difference equal to the allowed amount passes.
Clean up formatting before comparing
Leading-zero removal applies to matching identifiers and text comparisons. Turn it off when those zeros distinguish records.
COMPARISON COMPLETE
Here’s what needs attention.
On a small screen, scroll across the table to reach Inspect.
Reuse a comparison setup
Import a previously downloaded setup. It contains your column connections and rules, never source rows. You’ll be asked to fix missing columns.
Save to your account
Only the setup name, column connections, and rules are saved. Source rows and results stay here.
Reconnect your account
Connect your account to view saved setups.
Privacy & supported files
The comparison runs entirely in this tab. Selecting files, previewing rows, comparing and exporting do not send source values to a server. Only account and saved-setup requests are allowed to DataParity. Source files are never uploaded.
XLSX uses stored values or cached formula results; it does not recalculate formulas. CSV must use UTF-8 and commas. Text dates use YYYY-MM-DD or MM/DD/YYYY. Keep identifiers as text in Excel to preserve leading zeros.
For an independent test, switch your browser developer tools to Offline after the page loads, then compare and export.
